Gift Guides you can actually afford: Holiday Gift Guides from Nifty 50+

Some are bound to make you say, “Wow, I wish I had the money for that,” while others might make you wonder why anyone would pay so much for something that’s just so ordinary. But,hey, more power to you if you have the money to spare on these luxuries — and, if so, feel free to add us to your gift list. Prices are as of November 21 — as if you care.

Unitree Go2 Robot Dog

Allergies? Shedding? Wee wee pads? Not a problem with this robot dog. Not only can it walk itself, but it also runs, dances and climbs stairs. It even avoids obstacles while on the move and will walk alongside its owner like a well-trained pup. Powered by AI, it intelligently responds to voice commands (not scary at all), and it has a front-facing camera which can be viewed through the integrated smartphone app. It also has a battery life of 1–2 hours before it needs a nap — like a real dog! We’ll just ignore the fact that it looks like something straight out of a dystopian sci-fi horror — like those human-hunting robot dogs from that one episode of “Black Mirror.”

Exaco Nordic Melbourne Garden Room

If you know someone who loves to garden (or your wife has been begging for the “She Shed” of her dreams), this gorgeous garden room provides an instant upgrade to any outdoor space. Premium insulated panels and double-glazed glass allow for comfortable use year-round. With a generous diameter of nearly 14 feet, it could be an entertainment space, garden office, relaxing sunroom, yoga studio, plant sanctuary — or a little of all of the above. The only limit is your imagination (and wallet).

Jade Ruzzo Tennessee Ring

This bold,18-karat yellow-gold band is dripping with dozens of tiny round diamonds. The design was inspired by Tennessee (as the name implies) and you can imagine that the idea of a dangling “fringe” of diamonds was plucked straight from classic cowboy style. That said, it’s also easy to imagine that the ring is a teensy bedazzled jellyfish dancing around your finger. Equally chic interpretations, I think.

Plunge All-In + The Sauna Bundle

This is one of those gifts that you technically get for your spouse, but it’s very much for yourself, too. Because who wouldn’t want to have 24/7 access to a steam sauna and cold plunge tub right on their property? Sure, plunging yourself into ice water is admittedly an acquired taste — but you can upgrade to add a heater that can bump the temperature up to 104°F. You can also upgrade to the XL sauna (with room for 6-7 people) to maximize the luxury.

Price: $24,480 at Plunge

Eldvarm Emma Basket XL

The 4-digit price tag on this basket is mere pocket change compared to other entries on this list, but it’s crazy expensive for what it is. This basket (yup, it’s just a basket) is decidedly sturdy, made with a powder-coated steel base, leather detailing and large handles. It’s big enough to stash their spare cashmere blankets or silky throw pillows — and it’s definitely the most luxurious place for their precious firewood to rest.

Price: $1,325 at Eldvarm

Hermès Off Piste American Pool Table

Having your own pool table is already a luxury. But having a matte leather-covered pool table designed by Hermès is a whole other story. Aside from requiring a pasture of cattle (probably) to make the leather for this thing, there isn’t anything too revolutionary about it. However, it does come with four cue sticks, a leather-covered chalk cube and a set of pool balls that “reinterpret the classic game with simple shapes and bright colors” — which loosely translates to “We picked a slightly different font for the numbers and called it a day.”

Price: $265,400 at Hermès

The Elder Statesman Racing Stripe Blanket

Image courtesy of The Elder Statesman

There probably aren’t many things in life that are more calming than wrapping yourself up in a swath of lush cashmere. Good thing this blanket will ensure you never feel too relaxed. The incredibly loud pattern on this throw looks like someone ran a bunch of Mondrian paintings through a trash compactor — which is to say it’s very artsy. This also makes it the perfect gift for anyone who has trouble falling asleep as you can’t possibly keep your eyes open while in its presence.

Price: $1,997.50 at The Elder Statesman

Van Cleef & Arpels Magic Alhambra Transformable Necklace

Image courtesy of Van Cleef & Arpels

This beautiful necklace is made from 18K rose gold and mother-of-pearl insets for the lucky four-leaf clover-inspired motifs. Touted as “magic,” this jewelry can be worn as one long necklace, or transformed into a shorter necklace and matching bracelet. However, the most significant transformation will be the $35K missing from your bank account.

Price: $35,000 at Van Cleef & Arpels

Italian Golfing Trip via the La Dolce Vita Orient Express

A dream vacation for golfers, this 4-day/3-night trip on The Golf Train takes travelers around Rome, Brescia, Turin and Tuscany with stops at Northern Italy’s most prestigious courses. The luxury train evokes timeless Italian glamour and elegance inside, and breathtaking views of the Italian landscape outside. On board, guests are treated to a personal concierge and gourmet goodies from Michelin-starred chef Heinz Beck. There will even be a renowned professional golfer on board to lend out technical tips and stories from the green.

Price: $16,478 per passenger at Orient Express

Vespa 946 Snake 150

This limited-edition Vespa puts a contemporary spin on one of the brand’s earliest prototypes, and is designed to “embody the essence of winter” with its icy blue hue. It also sports a chromed 3D snake on the fender, chromed snake emblem on the fuel cap and leather-look seats with a cool snakeskin texture — utilizing the snake as an icon of transformation and rebirth. So if you’re shopping for someone in need of a head-turning new vehicle at midlife, this one’s pretty symbolic.

Chanel 25 Large Backpack

Fresh from Chanel’s 2025 collection, the Chanel 25 backpack is made from grained calfskin and gold-tone metal accents — including the iconic double-C Chanel logo, of course. Maybe it’s not the most expensive designer bag out there, but nearly $10K would be a wild amount of money to drop on your teen’s next backpack.

Price: $9,500 at Madison Avenue Couture

Louis Vuitton Hammock By Atelier Oï

For that one friend who loves to go camping but also really loves high-end designer everything, this woven-leather Louis Vuitton hammock is the perfect gift. There’s just one question: Is lounging on a leather net actually more comfortable than the classic rope or modern nylon versions? My guess is that comfort isn’t the real goal here — but if you have $50K to throw around, you can let us know!

Price: $49,500 at Louis Vuitton
