The recall affects Peanut Butter Crush and Ca$hew Cow full-size bars, both from Lot #174250. According to a company announcement posted by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Peanut Butter Crush bars may contain undeclared cashews, while the Ca$hew Cow bars may contain undeclared peanuts.

People with allergies or severe sensitivities to peanuts or cashews risk serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume these products.
The recalled candy bars were distributed to retailers in Michigan and New York and sold to consumers through retail stores. The Peanut Butter Crush bars come in yellow and purple 2-ounce boxes, while the Ca$hew Cow bars are in light blue and yellow 2-ounce boxes—each labeled with Lot #174250.
No illnesses or allergic reactions have been reported to date.
The company said the problem was traced to a temporary breakdown in production and packaging processes, which led to nut-containing products being distributed in the wrong packaging. Zingerman’s said it has taken steps to prevent similar issues in the future.
Consumers who purchased the affected candy bars should return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
